Who provides this
That Baby Name is published by Sestante Analytics AG. These terms cover the website at thatbabyname.app, the web app at app.thatbabyname.app, and the iPhone and Android apps. Using any of them means accepting these terms.
What it costs
The website and the web app are free, and the web app needs no account. The iPhone and Android apps are a one-off purchase through Apple's App Store and Google Play. There is no subscription, and there is nothing to buy inside the app.
Payment, refunds and cancellation are handled by the store you bought from, under that store's own terms, so a refund has to be asked for there rather than from us. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, none of this affects the rights the law gives you.
Your session
A session holds two people. Anyone who has your six-letter code can take the second seat, so share it only with the person you mean to swipe with. You are responsible for the name you choose to go by and for what you share from the app.
Your account
Signing in is optional and the app works without it. If you do sign in, you can delete your account, and everything stored against it, at app.thatbabyname.app/account. Our privacy policy explains what we store and why.
The name data
Names, counts and rankings come from public birth registers. Origins and meanings are our own editorial work. We make no promise that any of it is complete or correct, and none of it is advice about what to call a child.

Using it fairly
Do not use That Baby Name to harass anyone, to break the law, or to scrape, overload or interfere with the service. We may suspend access that is being used to abuse the service or other people.
Availability
We will try to keep it running and your shortlist intact, but it is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything you care about.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
We may change these terms. When a change matters we will say so on this page and move the date at the top. Carrying on using the app after that means accepting the new terms.
